Therapy Friends Utah
Private Pay Therapy that meets you where you are (2).png

I'm the therapist for you if you're ready to stop surviving and start living the life you actually want. You cannot build a fully alive life on an unhealed nervous system. I work at the intersection of trauma therapy and performance psychology to help you build the foundation that makes that possible.

My clients leave sessions feeling empowered, lighter, and more energized about their lives. I work with your whole self: your story, your nervous system, your patterns, and your potential. Sessions are grounded in somatic processing, guided imagery, emotional processing, and compassion. No perfection required. Just honesty and a willingness to show up.

At the core of this work is one thing:

helping you come home to yourself.

The you that trusts yourself. Knows your worth. Actually believes you're allowed to take up space without shrinking, without performing, without earning it first. If any part of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.

I received my bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in Family Science from Utah Valley University in 2019. My Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling was gained from Grand Canyon University in 2022. I have been practicing as a full-time therapist since 2021.

I'm currently pursuing an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Performance Psychology through Grand Canyon University, which is a stepping stone in my plan to earn a doctorate in General Psychology with an emphasis in Performance Psychology.

Outside of therapy, I am a creative! I love to create mixed media pieces on canvas, solder stained glass in my backyard studio, jump into house

renovation projects, and express myself through color.

I am a proud Latina therapist, bicultural daughter of an immigrant, and deeply connected to my Salvadoran roots.

Good Faith Estimate

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) refers to an outline of expected costs of therapy services for clients, particularly those who are uninsured or paying out-of-pocket. This requirement stems from the No Surprises Act (effective January 2022), aimed at protecting consumers from unexpected medical bills.

Who qualifies as a self-pay patient?

A provider’s duty to provide notice and a GFE applies to self-pay patients, i.e., an individual who (1) does not have benefits for an item or service under a group health plan, group or individual health insurance coverage offered by a health insurance issuer, federal healthcare program, or a health benefits plan; or (2) chooses not to use his or her coverage benefit for the item or service.

In many ways, this regulation protects patients from discovering, after they receive care, that they owe a massive medical bill for un-covered services.

However, therapy is different in that we can’t necessarily provide an estimate of how long it takes to treat a relationship issue, anxiety, depression or and trauma.

There are to many variables that make it nearly impossible to determine what will be needed for treatment. And there is no way to give a “good faith estimate” on whether or not a client will want to return.

Good Faith Estimate Details

Established clients have already completed their intake appointments and can disregard the fee for that service.

New clients are required to begin with a 60 minute intake appointment.
